GSA Seeks Proposals for Federal Triangle South Project
WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) requiring shortlisted developers to outline the construction and development services they are willing to provide in exchange for two buildings at Federal Triangle South in southwest Washington, D.C. These services would be used to help GSA consolidate approximately 1,500 regional staff from its Regional Office Building into the agency’s headquarters located at 1800 F St., NW and renovate up to four historic buildings at the St. Elizabeths Campus. In exchange, GSA would convey development rights to the Regional Office Building and Cotton Annex. Proposals from shortlisted developers are due by October 16 2015; the successful offeror will be selected in the fall.

GSA looks forward to working with the private sector to transform Federal Triangle South, and we will continue to use our exchange authority in innovative ways.”
